I'm mostly in underground stuff, alternative, acoustic, Indie, Rock, Jrock, Jpop, reggae and emo yes emo there are some good bands =D
so if you have any idea whose a good band for me to listen too let me know

The Sounds of Animals Fighting. The Benjamin Clocks. The Breakers. Finch. Earshot. Mad At Gravity.

Alesana, reel big fish, sublime, long beach dub allstars, less than jake

Hmm...let's see:

Pixies
Hella
Lightning Bolt
TV on the Radio
Japandroids
Tortoise
This Town Needs Guns
Future of the Left
mclusky
Guitar Wolf
The Last Shadow Puppets
Arctic Monkeys
The Flaming Lips

...Etc.

European Rock/Metal: Opeth, Amorphis, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth (the last two can be pretty extreme depending on your musical taste)

Bands based in my home area (New Orleans, LA): Corrosion of Conformity (Rock), Down (Rock), Crowbar (Rock/Metal), Kingdom of Sorrow (Rock/Metal), Galactic (Rock/Jazz)

Reggae: Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley, Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley (like anyone with the Marley name need to be listed...oh well doing it anyway), Skatalites, Buju Banton, Matisyahu

also, Easy Star All Stars does a great reggae rendition of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" named "Dub Side of the Moon"

Others include:
Radiohead, Muse, 311, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones (as well as his solo stuff), Cake, Days of the New,The Black Mages (Final Fantasy tribute band that Nobou Uematsu plays keyboards for) , Garaj Mahal, Jethro Tull (especially Benefit and Aqualung), Joe Satriani, Kyuss, Porcupine Tree, Phish, Pelican, Trivium, Queens of the Stone Age, Seemless, and Toubab Krewe.

That should get ya started. :thumbup1:
