Diablo 2 mods

I was wondering if anyone has played any diablo 2 mods? I just put the MedianXL mod on my netbook copy of d2 and it seems pretty rediculous. Im level 9 already and just now going into the cold plains. And its not that easy as i have died quite a bit while trying to clear out the Den of Evil.


anyone reccomend any mods for d2?

there are some good out there, can't remember the names, but sometimes you can get lucky and find a good one. Try and make a search on MODDB and see if you find anything

well so far i have to say that the MedianXL mod is quite good. it may feel kind of easy with the game set to 1 player but you can make it harder by setting it to more players being in the game.

I've played that and meh. It's alright. I prefer private high level PvP servers over mods.

Outside of unreliable bnet connection (to include "failed to join game" "cannot find modem" and black walls), bots for admins (Banned for 2 hours for joining "too many games, too quickly"), dupes, spammers, bug rushes, bots running baal runs, 3rd party software filtering items, map hacks, ruststorm.

but otherwise, it's a great game, and I still play it. I bought it the day it was released.

Blizzard should get steamed, but they're to stubborn and arrogant for that.

Median XL and GLW are the most fun IMO
