Introducing: Seed Teams

sky-high gave a great suggestion of having "seed teams", and I have brainstormed on the idea and came up with the following:

What are seed teams?
Seed teams are for every DoD:S map we offer, no matter how popular it is. We denote ourselves using {S} tag after our names while we are spectating (aka seeding) the server. The tag lets other players/admin know what we are doing, and can kick us if necessary when the serves peak back up.

Can I join a seed team?
Of course! We want people who frequent the given server a lot, and who can dedicate themselves to seeding whenever they are not actively playing during non-peak hours (varies by server - usually midnight-8/11am). It would be best if we could have every person seed nightly, but we accept anyone who just wants to seed at any time, as little or as much as they want.

If we can get 5-10 dedicated seeders for every map (30-60 people), it would push all of our servers up dramatically.

Before posting a request to join a seeding team, please be positive that you can help out. We don't want the seeding teams to be popular at first, then just fade away. THIS IS A CAUSE, and an important one. This will help grow the community and keep our servers popular! If you can only seed once a month, then you still can seed, but we are looking mostly for dedicated seeders to join the formal "teams", who will be seeding frequently.

Benefits of joining a seeding team:
-Everyone who joins a seeding team and actively participates will receive a Server Starter/Idler EGO Achievement which will be added to their profile's Award Showcase.

-Casino cash awards for those who join and dedicate themselves to seeding every night for a specified X number of nights in a row (still in the works).

-It will certainly help you be more attractive for a promotion.

-"Seed Team Member" signatures for everyone who participates (currently being designed).

Yeah I was actually unsure if this has been brought up/proposed before in the past or exists in other divisions.

No you not need to be here every night,
just as much as possible

Everyone posted so far have been added. Once other maps fill up, I will allow more seeders for kalt.

Remember: this doesnt have to be your favorite server, just pick one with the least amount of signups and seed when you arent playing..

where are the signups for the cheerleading spots of the seed teams? ?

Is there a minimum for the number of hours spent seeding per week to be considered an "active participant"? On that note, since we can measure seeding activity quantitatively (checking out time spent with the {S} tag on the stats page) might we try out like, seeding tier levels? At 250 accumulated seeding hours or a high seeding hours per week ratio maybe we can hand out some of that free stuff like falcons, etc, or offer some other incentives?

I don't know, the enthusiasm is already great so far but people really, really respond to incentives.
