Why is sv_pure set to 0 ?

It encourages hackers, and means people can use more types of less obvious hacks.

well i wouldent know but if it was set to 0 then it was set there for a reason.

There might be a server plugin or add-on that needs to have sv_pure set to 0 to use. And when sv_pure is set to 1 it hardly does anything anyways. No modern hacks are going to me stopped or recognized by sv_pure.

SV_Pure is set to 0 so that players can use skins and sprays.

We have enough resources to track down and catch hackers. If you think a player is hacking, add some eGO level admins to your friends list and call them into the server.
