Counter Strike: Source weapon skins.

I download the skin from FPS banana and then I open it using Winrar like all the tut's say to.

I drag/extract the files from Winrar into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\blasto878\counter-strike source\cstrike

I've done this with multiple skins and it doesn't work for me.

Help!?

This should go in the tech help forum.
Also you need to put them in the models folder and such, not just in the cstrike folder.
FPSBanana has a guide on how to install skins, you should read it and follow it.
If you cant find it, you can google how to install skins and they will teach you everything. It is a fairly easy question to get answered using google.

when you download the skins you usually download them as material, model, sound, script folders......you copy/paste all of these folders into your cstrike folder where you'll see some of your own material, model, sound, script folders....paste them there and click yes to all for overwriting the files and the skin will work.
if you download a complicated skin, like one with multiple options you'll need to go inside of the materials/model folder and pick which one you'll want to use. kinda hard to explain but you should be able to figure it out

there probably is a folder named models, if you have it try putting em there..
