Email subjects

This doesn't really need it's own thread but I couldn't find the proper one.

Please do not send emails saying "The Last eGO Meeting". :scared:

I don't ever read past the subject of an email on my phone. I was worried for an hour before I read the entire email when I got back to my computer when I read the rest..."The Last eGO Meeting...of the 2009 Summer!". :facewall:

NOT COOL!

Anyways, that's enough for my rant. Keep up the awesome work. Proud to be part of eGO. Maybe I'll see some of ya'll on INS tonight.

P.S. I live in Maryland. Any East Coast meetings ever? I drove to Wisconsin once for a weekend of paintball with my brother's clan.

If you go to My Account and then go to Edit Options. Scroll down to Messaging & Notification , there you can select what and who you want to receive email from.

On a related subject: (Hijack alert)

A heading that includes the date e.g. "TF2 Division Q&A Aug 31", is more clear than "Tonights TF2 Division Q&A". This is especially true for people who don't make it to the forums everyday.

You can always include both. "TF2 Division Q&A Tonight, Aug 31". This will help cut down on confusion when old threads are bumped. It may even give one pause before bumping a dusty thread.*

It is also useful to notice that the date of the post is included with each post but you must open the thread to see the origin date of the thread.
