I found that this helps. More FPS

Start Steam. Go to MY GAMES. Then settings at the bottom. Goto IN-GAME and take the check out of "Enable Steam community in-game". I get a good boost out of this (5-10 FPS). Don't do it if you use Steam Community of course.

Using steam community in backround kinda slows things down being that it's running the whole time your playing...I think.

it doesnt actually affect your game, just how much effort the comp is putting in to running other stuff =) Good to know though

I found it in the DOD S forum. Just one more thing running in game that I don't need. Most people don't.
