So I've decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and make this post, and if you hadn't guessed it already, I'm setting up a scrim team. The name is currently undecided (although I'm leaning towards 'Doritos') and I'm in need of a few exceptionally good players who aim to make it to the top this round.
I'll be the leader/captain/whatever of this team and I'll have the final say on who gets in, but don't let this discourage you from applying in PM to me, posting in this thread is also an alternative to that. If I don't get to you in PM for a few days, don't feel neglected either -- I'll get to you eventually, I've just got to make decisions based on what I think the best class setup will be.
What's different than this team (I think, I dunno) is that I'm going to set some requirements for it. Yeah, I know, not fun, blah, blah, blah, but I feel that we can bring the team up and actually go places. The requirements are as this:
• Minimum 500th place in the eGO servers according to HLStatsX.
* If you're currently not in the top 500, inform me please. If you think you'll be able to be in the top 500 before the new season starts, I'll put you on the reserved (standby) list. It's not guaranteeing you a spot, it just makes it easier for me to organize.
• The ability to use a microphone and can use it with Ventrilo.
• Dedication to the team and ability to make it to matches at least 30 minutes early.
• Within the PST, MST, CST, and EST timezones.
*I'm in the EST timezone, it'd just be easier to call meetings and practices if we're all on generally in the same time.
• Willingness to compete, strive to go to the top, and most of all have fun while playing the game.
*Play games to have fun, don't play games if it seems like a job.
I'll probably think of a few more and slap 'em up here within a few days, but go ahead and feel free to post the following information if you'd like to be on the team, or PM me or catch me through the Steam network.
