Today I accidentally hit log out on my steam account and i tried logging back in and it says Login invalid or Something like that. I tried entering my password again and it still says that and i am pretty sure u am using the right password

So i hit Retrieve Account and i got the e-mail and the Verification code
the it says *Answer* for the Secret Question And i entered that put in a new password and says "Your password could not be changed.
Either you answered your secret Question wrong, or your new password is invalid"

A couple quick questions, are you sure you entered the secret question answer exactly as you entered it when you created the question, including case and any spacing or punctuation? The system might not accept it unless it is identical (Usually using a different case is ok, but not always). Also, is the password you are entering different from the one that you think you had on there before? The system might reject it if the passwords are the same.

yeah make sure that caps isnt on! somehow my caps lock key turns on mysteriously, so i removed it, hit it with a hammer, and then burned it. but that was on my old comp.

Complete destruction of a sometimes useful computer component aside...Have you tried entering the password with caps on? maybe you had it on by accident when you created the password.
