My new iBUYPOWER desktop i won in the raffle! **Pics Up!**
Well if you did not know i was the rafle winner of the June/July raffle. My prize was a computer donated by iBUYPOWER. I have to say, this machine is beastly and fast! I havent had problems with ANY game ive thrown at it yet.
My old pc wasnt bad at all and would run most games i had maxxed out or close to maxxed except of cource crysis...which well.... i ran on high at 30fps. This new machine runs crysis at 1680 x 1050 on all very high with no AA at a solid 20+fps which for that game is very playable.
I was also very impressed with the quality of the shipping and extras i got with the machine. The box it came in had some very sturdy, thick padding it it to prevent damage. In the box came plenty of extra cables and ports i could add into the computer as needed. I packed everything into a medium sized bag but it was bulging out. I was amazed to see the computer also came with its own keyboard and mouse. Which i use the keyboard but not the mouse just because it isnt better than my $50 razor diamondback 3g. I do use the mouse for my netbook though, which it works well for that.
Heres a list of the hardware inside the machine.
Processor: Phenom II x4 925
Motherboard: Gigabyte 790fx chipset. not sure on the model
Ram: 4gb DDR3-1333
Video: XFX radeon 4870 1gb
PSU: 700watt
HDD: 500gb
Well ill be sure to post pics soon, just neet to get my netbook internet up so i can use the cardreader in it to upload the pics as i dont have a cable for my digital camera atm.
I want to thank JohnT and the rest of council and community managers for setting up and awesome raffle and getting some sweet sponsors.
I also want to thank ricky from iBUYPOWER for getting such a great rig for me.
