So the idea is that basically we will re-enact the war and how it progressed through different DoD maps. First you will chose a side either Germans or Americans and you will stick with that side for the remainder of the war.

Example: First map is Strand and that would be D-day H-Hour Omaha beach. Now you play 3-5 games. Say Americans won 3-2, The Germans would then be pushed back further inland France to the next map say churchyard(only one I can think of that has hedgerows..). If the Germans had won the next event the Americans would have to re-storm the beaches.

At first maps would be linear but further into the war I think choices should be made. Example: Once the Allies liberate France it's time to choose. Will they go north into the lowlands to one map or go with the 3rd army south to a different map? YOU decide.

Victory Perks: to make this more interesting the winning team will get certain perks. Depending on the amount of their round wins.
They can ask for another MG or another Sniper for their team or more grenades etc.

Also the Victors of the last round of play ends with you having an enemy weapon then you will get that for the first round next event battle. Example: If you are an American and have an MG-42 and you win then you will have that MG-42 for the first round next map battle.

So does anybody think they would be interested in this?
If you have any ideas post them here or pm me. I would probably host all the battles on my server 12 vs 12, 2 squads of 6 per team.
 
That sounds sweet man.. id be there in a jiffy..u might wanna change a few things on strand as wermach wins more than 2/3 of the games !whoa
 
Organizing that would be a **expletive deleted** but its nonetheless a very intriguing idea.
 
Sounds cool, but you can't have someone have enemy weapon at start of round, unless someone gives it to that person.
 
Me like, me like alot! Good job on the idea, but i think it will be hard to put together!
 
Fun stuff, although not a new idea. Such a program already exists, within a tournament called Victory In Europe. Although not indentical to what you posted... it's very, very similar.

It is indeed a very fun program, but takes a LOT of planning on the administrative end, and a lot of coordination among members....
 
I used to play something like this, i think it was called War in Europe or something. or V in Europe. But could be cool.

If you find the maps they use we could basically copy them in an intra clan war.
