Its always better to have more than less, the more headroom the better.
If your mobo isn't tri-channel and is dual channel then the 8gb of ram should be fine, im guessing 4x2gb....if it tri-channel, go either 6gb, or 12gb but it honestly doesnt matter, atleast i dont think it does. Theres probably some downsides though if you dont follow the tri-channel or dual channel thing but i havnt really read about it, just hear people saying its better to follow the tri-channel or dual channel rule

the new cooler master PSU's should be fine, i hear they are quality made now. My old one was terrible but it looked much cheaper than the new ones. I've upgraded and moved on though. Using a tuniq ripper 1000w

i have a RaidMax 700W. quite nice, and looks cool.
and when i got a job, I'm getting 8GB of DDR3. and it looks like the budget of my next build might bump up to 500.

looks like its 36amps on the 12 volt rail with max of 360w output
that PSU doesn't look too bad, should suit you fine
