My Laptop problem (with specs)

since the time I installed CS:S I started lagging a bit and I said "Well its a little lag no big deal". Then it got to the point where my laptop began lag more and kept turning its screen black (I dont know if it goes to sleep.) So now I need some advice please :crying:

Its an HP - Pavilion Laptop with Intel? Core?2 Duo Processor

Processor speed: 2.1GHz

System Memory (RAM): 4GB

System Memory (RAM) expandable to: 8GB

Hard Drive type: SATA (5400 rpm)

Hard Drive Size: 320GB

Graphics: Intel? Graphics Media Accelerator 45000MHD

Battery type: 6-cell lithium-ion
Modem: 56 Kbps*

Hmm that looks like an integrated GPU. It could be overheating causing it to black screen, I had a laptop that would to that too.

Run some tests to see what temp your comps getting. I think it might be over heating aswell.

ya i'd say a slow down then crash/black screen is all bout temps. and considering its a laptop its prone to overheating
