Just figgered I should drop by, register and say 'Howdy' seeings as how much time I spend on your TF2 BlackMesa server.
Nice work Dragon, when is the Cap the Flag coming out?
I enjoy playing with you folks and thanks for running the Server!
My Resume:
I began OL Games shortly before TFC came out. Jumping into my first game, (a HL1 Deathmatch) I was running around, dying left and right and LMAO. When I realized I was running under the infamous 'Player' handle (it was my first game after all), I pulled down the console and entered "Cannon_Fodder" and that was that.
After a bit I hooked up with the [30+] Clan. Leagued with them before the first TFC Netcode update. You know, back when the Sniper Dot LAAAAGED behind your Crosshair. Much of [30+] split to form Ir8 after a political fallout with the Clan leadership. Seems we were just too stupid to realize that TFC's days were numbered and UnReal Team Fortress was the wave of the future...
Ir8 stands for "I Remember 8-Tracks". This was an attempt to bring some younger blood into the Team. It was awhile back, OK... Bringing in Kids only 28 years old was really pushing the edge. Honest. We leagued on STA and a few others. Leagued BF42 back when it release and so forth. Nowadays the Team is mostly in retirement. I still wear the tag, with pride, even though most of us just sit on the porch and talk about the "Ol' Days". The Team is still intermittently active in some LAN Parties back east.
