This is valve wont work like that. And instead of getting them for free and cheap like valve why dont we earn them like we had 2 earn the weapons till the dreaded sniper/spy update came out and ruined tf2.

I dont want it to happen, but they could do it if they wanted. And maybe on TF's bday instead. Kinda like what RS does with special occasions. To prove it's possible, look at how many halos were given out, about 94% of players got them.

Would I like it? Yes. Is it a good idea? No. Not completely fair. I like the idea of them giving free stuff on TF2's birthday (which just passed us by) or maybe the day another Valve game comes out (L4D2 maybe).

I'd rather have misc items instead of a hat, just because there really isn't any items out at all. It would be fun with that instead of a hat you could possible get an hour from then.

Outside of the tf2 game methods of hat getting would just rage people even more.
