Extreme Graphic Board!

Asus MARS has been ou there for a while, its limited to 1000 yea and i guess each is almost 2000$, and will be out of stock soon if not already
 
wow what the hell is the point
i can literally buy a decent car for the price of that video card, SLI it and i'll put a downpayment on a small house...and for what, a small performance boost above the already powerful 295. pointless. completely and utterly pointless

It's not for the everyday person like yourself. It is for enthusiasts that have no goal in life but to break records. You could argue that buying a Porsche is pointless, as any working car will get you from point A to point B, but there is still the market for it. You are obviously not the intended market for this card. There is a reason why they are only making 1000...

i realize this. however im still just baffled by what people find important or necessary in this world. also spend all this money to set a current record for whatever, until a couple months later even better stuff comes out and all of a sudden you're obsolete again. hope it was worth it, lol
 
Even if I had the money I don't think I would get it considering that it IDLES at 75 degrees. That is insane. It would scare the crap out of me. I dont care what they say, 90+ degrees is just plain HOT.

Like JunK said really...

The American population for the most part, always want's the "best" stuff. Which is extremely stupid in my opinion. Yea, I don't want the worst either, but I'll get what's necessary and have some fun. But the fact that these extremely expensive things will be out of date in less that 5 years (very likely) is insane. It would be amazing if companies started to think green about their products so they could last.... you could argue that this product will last for a while, but the people that buy it, will probably just upgrade again when the next "best thing" comes out...

Anyways, I'm just blabbering away. :)
 
ebay had one listed for around $2300 buy it now. Nobody bought it. been around for a minute now.
 
this is really really old news.....the thing has been out for so long already and all of them were sold within the first like 2 weeks.

The card is faster than a standard GTX 295 thats why its supposedly so special and its faster by a good margin i think too.

Personally, the thing is more of a collectible and on the shelf thing.

So True, a 2000$ video card That can't run it on max...better invest in a good overall cpu with a decent video card.
 
Yeah pretty old news. These cards can run Far Cry 2 at insane resolutions.
