ventrilo lag

Recently on ventrilo i have been seeing massive lag with pings up to 9000 at th top, it never used to have this problem and i receive some messages upto 30 seconds later than they were spoken, this could be cause by a terrible internet speed for me but i was wondering if there was any way or easily speeding it up, thanks

Do you clean your cache and I need the system format and what you use, could be outdatted drivers or something.

well i use ventrilo 3.0.5 win 32 with vista, i never cleaned any cache or system format, im not real good with computers >.<. Thanks for trying to help tho =)

im going to try uninstalling it and reinstalling it and maybe it will go back to how it used to be.

Update: This didnt fix the lag, any other ideas?

Well this doesnt help, but just letting you know i kinda have the same problem, but not really

i dont lag onvent but when im playing counetrstrike and on vent i lag massivelly

15,000 ping on vent then it auto disconnects me, YAY

but im from Australia, so yeh
