Hey there. As an old member of leadership and seeing your transition from one community to another, my question to you is:

What do you think you bring to your new team and what are some ideas you possibly have?

I play on the servers once in awhile but I'm mostly a competitive player doing Highlander or playing comp servers. So, we'll mostly likely not talk but I do wish you the best with your transition. The division has a lot of history to it and I've always told leadership that worked with me or under me, "Make your impact powerful and positive to leave your mark in the division's history. It'll speak for future years to come.".

TF2 as a game at the moment has a player base that's dedicated to the game. But at the moment, the issues is all the communities are fragmented. So, in response to your statement regarding your opinion. It's a step in the right direction but it's up to people who can make an impact to keep the communities close or unify them to continue the longevity of TF2's life span. It's a double edge sword because what makes TF2 unique is the communities it has brought over the years. So with another one "disappearing" it adds a bit of a bland mark within the TF2 world.

As for Wize 's question, I've been a strictly TF2 admin for Prestige Gaming for coming in at 2 years. I started playing TF2 back in 2013 during the HellTower event, and have enjoyed the game ever since. With close to 2000 hours in the game, i hope to try and bring to this community and to this team a vast array of experiences i've had either while admining or by playing in general to try and help create a more enjoyable gaming experience for everyone that joins our TF2 servers. One big issue we had on our pG servers was the inactivity of not only people on our Harvest server, but just the lack of willingness to play TF2 at all (we were more of a CSGO community). I hope to change the stigma that surrounds TF2 as being "out-dated" or "not fun" and make it more enjoyable for everyone!

As for Emmy 's 2 part question, my favorite color is Teal, and I hope to get all of Satan 's questions answered by the end of the day xD

So I guess I would like to hear your thoughts on best styles of running TF2 servers.

pG and eGO are very similar in that they run mostly vanilla gameplay servers, with maybe a few things like Hightower TDM (which I am a fan of). I was the DL for TF2 here for a while and my (completely unbiased) thought that TF2 is the shining jewel of eGO pushed me to keep our servers a fun place for all skill levels, and generally unchanged from vanilla gameplay. We of course always had the ability to run other crazier things for a bit with events, and even bigger things with all day events/tournaments. I think this was a great balance for what people looked for in TF2.

What are your thoughts on this? TF2 is 10 years old, and while there will certainly be people who will move on over time, I feel like it always stays true to what people like. We have a saying here in eGO TF2 that's been around..."They always come back".

It's very possible that TF2 is nearing the end of it's storied gaming career. While recent updates have definitely pushed back fears that Valve was starting to disconnect, it's always a chance they will come out and say "It's done". If we were still able to run community servers after that, what do you think would be the best way to keep them full of life?

For Mister36 's inquiry, I believe the first thing we need to do to help improve not only the player population, but also the amount of fun people have on any TF2 server is to get away from the kinda stigma that's been formed around it that TF2 is a boring game and doesn't compete with things like CSGO or PUBG or even Fortnite. TF2 is an ever classic game, and it's a whole heck of a lot of fun to play. If people actually gave it a shot, i think they'd like it more. At pG, our QAs (which is equivalent to PSC here) would host "fast fills" on our lesser populated servers, and a large amount of them were on the TF2 Harvest server, and I would sit in and listen and people would actually be having fun playing. If we can implement something like that here, if it is already something here please tell me, then I think we can help keep not only the servers popuated, but we can expose people to a new way of viewing a game that's older than most of the game they play now, and in my opinion, better.
