The case and amount of airflow doesn't matter. Neither does liquid vs air cooling. The components still generate the exact same amount of heat. It's how quickly the heat gets removed from the component that changes. Still the exact same amount of energy(heat) getting blown from your computer case into the room.
Im a little confused exactly what your saying. What i was saying is that the antec basically blows our cool air, and instead of making the room warmer it actually cools it down. I know this because i not only own an antec 900 but i also have taken temperature measure meant with a regular case, with no case, and with the antec 900, and it is infact cooler. Granted it might make the room 71 degrees instead of 72, but that's better than in making it 78 instead of 72 :/
and woodstock, yea that might not help is the thermostat is in another room.
note, it might also be that i have an incredible good heat sink which might help a bit as well.
