The case and amount of airflow doesn't matter. Neither does liquid vs air cooling. The components still generate the exact same amount of heat. It's how quickly the heat gets removed from the component that changes. Still the exact same amount of energy(heat) getting blown from your computer case into the room.

Im a little confused exactly what your saying. What i was saying is that the antec basically blows our cool air, and instead of making the room warmer it actually cools it down. I know this because i not only own an antec 900 but i also have taken temperature measure meant with a regular case, with no case, and with the antec 900, and it is infact cooler. Granted it might make the room 71 degrees instead of 72, but that's better than in making it 78 instead of 72 :/

and woodstock, yea that might not help is the thermostat is in another room.

note, it might also be that i have an incredible good heat sink which might help a bit as well.

Im a little confused exactly what your saying.

Obviously. A processor is going to generate the exact same amount of heat whether it has a stock cooler on it in a case with no fans, or a water block in a liquid cooling loop with a 4x120 radiator in a case with 10 fans. The EXACT same amount of energy will be used by the processor(at the same loads and clocks of course), creating the EXACT same amount of heat. The only difference is how QUICKLY the heat gets transferred from the heatsink, water, etc, into the atmosphere.

I'll seed our empty servers while I'm tired of TF2 and doing other things with my computer. Just set the resolution real lower and bring all the video settings to minimum, and let it run in the background. That way, I'm not really wasting any more power, and I'm still contributing.

There's no negative effect from seeding. Plants turn co2 into oxygen. Power bill? Play with no lights on and don't keep on lights in other parts of the house when not necessary. Problem solved. Now, get into the servers and help us out!!!!'

Yes there is, what's going to happen is that people are going to come on, discover that 4 out of 10 players are seeding in spectate, and quit just like that.

That will affect our server ranking and also penalize us on their server scores, they'll also remember that half the time, ego servers are filled with spectators.

We should give the visitors to our servers the true impression, if you want to seed a server, at least be playing, don't sit in spectator mode.

That's why is there are already 2 people seeding in the server, you go and seed another one. There is an art to this yano
