Where are all the players we used to have?

Are you guys happy ? unhappy? whats the deal??

We have 10 servers that stay constantly empty during the day and most of the night...


We need you guys help the most. Lets get a pep rally going.. Divisional meeting will be the time..


See you guys there, and also think about what you can do to help eGO's servers IE TF2's especially... one of the topics that will be discussed is TF2's servers.

I think many members of the tf2 division have school around this time, I do, and homework and all that jazz cuts into tf2 time.

I don't think anyone is unhappy with what we have, I'm pretty content and thankful for the abundance of different servers, I just believe that many don't have the time until weekends to jump on.

And if we have a pep rally can we get a group to be a drumline and cheerleading squad?

I get skippy lag that makes me ragelog off our servers.

The maps are getting old for me (I don't know why, i thought I loved these servers)

I still can't play spy and it makes me ragelog off the servers.

And dominating Zergspower, Mental Buga, and Masterpiece as a Scout just isn't as fun as it used to be.

I just try to play whenever I can, but since I have to do schoolwork, even if it is from home, I can't play quite as much as I did this summer. Most people I know are usually at school this time of day, or at work. Basides, most of the people who are on right now are on Blackmesa, so the rest of the servers are empty. In half an hour the servers will be packed.

School. Also, I'm discouraged from playing on the Verizon fios servers, mainly because it's just too laggy for me. (Over 140ms ping)

To Answer this question I am going to be honest with what I think.

1) School, self explanatory.

2) Idling: seeding servers doesn't guarantee a spot to idle for hours on end, those who would otherwise seed are on idle servers decreasing numbers.

3) Deserters. First let me say I appreciate what leadership does for the community. Second these are not my opinions, just information I've gathered from ex members. Now Let me explain, when changes in eGO occur, sometimes eGO cliques (like the dedicated Warpthians) are directly affect. Sometimes these clicks are more dedicated to what they do than eGO. Of course you know about this; however, over the summer there were more changes that effect a larger number of people than usual. Warpath being gone hurt and incidents with changing advisors and DL hurt TF2.

3.5) Size of eGO. As eGO grows people feel more alienated. Those who stay have seen their share of friends they grew to the big O with go (for me a heck of a lot of Warpathians). When trying to decide whether they want to play with their friends on other servers or make new one in eGO servers they tend to follow the former. I'll use myself as an example. The personalities I found in Warpath have moved on. I still like to play on eGO servers. The result my time is getting split between the two. I'll play some games with my ole' WP posy and with eGO player.

I'm not advocating making another server of Warpath; that time has come and gone. It has just been what has most affected me.

Well i have school, a bowling league, a bowling team, a frat im trying to join, and a job that i work when im not doing any of the others.

Today wa my first chance to really play in like a week.

I know it is the slow season with school back in session but yea the TF2 servers have been crazy dead lately. I seed Turbine in the early am and sometimes i will get a few players in and we will melee and have some fun but it's never more than a few players at best. so i don't know what to say. It would be nice to see more eGO members seeding the servers if they can/want too.

If a true honest reason is what you want, then that is what I will deliver.

The TF2 division has not been the same for me since two changes that happened earlier this spring/summer. One map, on which I always played with my eGO friends, was changed. I moved on, found a new map to play on which I liked, made new friends there. Then about a month later that map was also changed, and my group of friends no longer played together. (our problem, I know). After this, the personal defences of my human psychological disposition triggered. Causing me to wary from finding a new server with a new group of friends only to have that map changed as well and repeat the process for the third time.

So playing without friends in a game is not as fun as playing with friends. So often times I find myself playing WaW or even Halo 2 for PC.

That is whats up with Woodstock. None of it is eGO TF2 Division's fault, or lack of support from eGO's side. (I know maps come a go, no grudge there.) It is a personal issue.

Edit: I forgot to add that Valve's meddling with the game has also changed it greatly. Some for the good, others for the worse. Its just another splash in the bucket. (I don't like change.)

The interblag is really quite sporadic around this time, since most people, are indeed, doing real life stuff. Just the way it works. Think about it;

Summer, No school, carefree - servers always full
Fall, School, Homework, extra-curricular activities and other stuff - Less full / borderline empty.
