I'm not sure if this was already a thread or not, but I was curious about how some of you came to be eGO members, be it recruited or just signed up.

As far as myself, I saw someone post in game once on the eGO servers to visit the website and check it out. I did and was VERY impressed at what I saw and sign up on the spot. I can't remember who it was that posted that message, but I'd like to thank them personally. This is a great community of not just gamers, but good people who want nice clean servers to play in.

Now for the rest of you, did you simply join like I did? Or did you get recruited and by who?

I played on the CS:S Dust2 server, saw the way the admins handled things, and I couldn't wait to join.

Someone invited me to a Steam group called "eGO Fun Play". I have no idea who invited me, but I checked out the group and its description was something like "For people who like to play on eGO servers and have fun."

So I was like, "Ok, what is this eGO thing?" So I Google eGO and eventually find the old edgegamers.org site. I checked it out real good, tried all 4 servers, and decided to join. I really found this clan by chance.

I was trying to find a server to play in DoD and found the 24/7 Donner server. Loved it. Said hey i hate the clan i'm in now i will join this one! so here i am one year later =)

I had just bought DoD:S and my real life mate; Carne made me join the edgegamers.us. :) Lots of fun!

For me,I was clanless and I wanted to join one and umm =(eGO)= Israel recruited me (now known as =(e)= Israel :D Thx dude for suggesting eGO to me :D

I joined to work on Holystrike, and then I got TF2 and next thing I know im an e.

I was just playing on Random TF2 servers when I first received the game. Found eGO, and saw that it was much better than any other servers that I had played on. I saw that they were recruiting for not only people, But for admins as well. Took the advantage, And look where I ended up.

Joining eGO is one of the best decisions I've made in a while.

So I'm sitting there putting the gun oil and brushes back in their case having just finished cleaning my BAR and this guy barges in. he's six inches taller than God, thompson in hand and a frag and a smoke dangling from his belt.

"I'm Bones and The Raiders need you on Donner".

"They're rushing bench alley and they'll be on tank before you can reload your browning"

Well how can you argue with a born leader like that.

So I follows him o'er the rubble wall and the rest as they say, is history.

the first server i ever joined when i got CSS was eGO and i just kind of stayed.

This dude named Alias suggested I check out the site and Here I Am :)

On that note...I haven't seen Alias in a while :\

People were talking about it on one of eGO's TF2 Servers, so I went to the website and checked it out.
