I want to hear your thoughts on the series so far, Saw VI is coming out this Halloween and i cant wait :)

I'm too scared to watch Saw after I saw the first one. I couldn't sleep for a week.

I don't know which is more pathetic, that Hollywood thinks that this is a quality film series, or that people keep buying into it.

I presume your joking? Its not scary. Just gory.

Maybe he got the pictures of people getting riven apart in his head and couldn"t sleep. It doesn"t need to be scary for people to not sleep from it mate.

I saw Saw 3 a year ago and after that depressing movie I decided to never touch a Saw movie again. :) Stop the Saw movies aready.

eh, i think its an ok series. not good enough to be excited for a new one, but not bad enough for me to shun it all together

I love those movies! Saw 1 was cool, I think that 2 and 3 are awesome, 4 and 5 could have used some more work on the plots, but they where still awesome!!

Well, If you haven't seen 1 and 2, then seeing Saw 3 is kinda hopeless, I mean the first one i saw in the series was number 4, and i didnt understand crap and thought it sucked. Then after watching it again after seeing 1,2 and 3 it all made sense and suddenly i loved the movie.

Ahh! It saddens me that so many people don't like the series. Me personally i love the series. I direct movies myself(not big time, i getting there :)) So when i watch movies i pick them apart.

Saw: Great movie. And for a movie with only 1.2million budget they did amazing. Saw was also shot in only 14 days.

Saw 2: Eh, not my favorite of the series. It was ok, but i didn't see a real story to it besides introducing Amanda.

Ide continue to give my opinion on the other movies but i have to leave for school =]

Saw: Great movie. And for a movie with only 500,000 budget they did amazing. Half a million dollars for a movie is nothing. Saw was also shot in only 14 days.

Well...ehh...there are a lot better films that you could be pulling apart than the Saw films. They usually are haphazardly shot and poorly plotted. Also the first Saw film had a $1.2 Million budget and not a $500k.

If you want a really good example of a film shot on the Ultra-cheap and still looks great; try Primer. It had a budget of $7,000, unfortunately it has a plot that is convoluted enough to confuse just about anyone who sees it

Another one is Brick which is a damn fine film with a budget coming in at $450K.
