Just got TF2 - Do I just wear my eGO Tags

I've always played DOD and have been eGO for a while. Do I just jump in and play TF2 with my tags on or not?

I thought the PIN was all Source games, not just TF2. But yeah, what everyone else said. Keep your Steam name and your tags. So your TF2 nick should look just like your DOD nick, tags and all.

You may see some players ending their name with a tag showing how many hats they have; like =(eGO)=?Idol [1 hat], or =(eGO)=?Carmine [more than you]. While these tags are optional, the whole hat thing is old and played out. The cool thing to do now is declare your pants status; like =(eGO)=?Dude [Pants], or =(eGO)=?Idol [NoPants], or even =(eGO)=?xosniper [Jorts].

Just make sure to tell the other admins you're from DoD incase they start wondering who that weird new guy is with eGO tags that we've never seen before.

I thought the PIN was all Source games, not just TF2.

It is. Which is why he'll have to get his PIN from DoD:S and put it in his TF2 autoexec file.

When you first joined eGO, the procedures amongst the games/divisions of eGO were different than they are now.

Now, once you are a member of one game/division, you are a member across all the games/divisions. Glad to see another eGO member playing on TF2 servers.

As others have said, be sure to put your MAUL PIN into the correct TF2 folder. Once you do that, other admins in the server will recognize you as a fellow admin (and non-imposter) by your admin rights.
