Prefered Mouse and Mousepad

I have a Goliathus mat, but it's too big for my keyboard shelf. So it was demoted to a mat for my netbook to sit on.
Although I use a Logitech Nano wireless mouse, I'm ordering the Deathadder mouse and the Saitek Eclipse 2 keyboard (both have matching blue glow
) and will probably get the Steelseries mat.

) and will probably get the Steelseries mat.I'm currently using the G9. And DPI is hardly relevant for browsing, Windows mouse pointer speed will affect the sensitivity much more.
And I have a Rocketfish I picked up from Best Buy. Not a terribly great pad, but I was in need after I spilled a soda on my Func Archetype and haven't gotten around to replacing it.

A small tear wells up for banshee, and yet they are no more..........I use a G9 with the aircraft grade aluminum banshee pad........it was neat for it's time, you could customize it with your tag and avatar, which i did, been using it for 3 years now and it is aluminum so you'll never need another one. Never really liked the gel pads, always liked a hard surface.

Zero Gamers mat- can flip it either side . One side is supposed to be better for quick movement and the other side for slower more precise tasks such as sniping. This ones at MC for $11.
I use the G5 mouse and love it, the adjustable in-game DPI is really handy for me . You can find that one most anywhere for under $50. You can even get a G9 laser mouse for $50 on ebay or bestbuy.com. The G9x just came out which goes upto 5000dpi whereas the original does 3200. I love how my bro's MX518 feels in my hand, but decided to go with the G5 for its color and weights you can add to make it heavier if u please.
I do think i will be getting the G9 . It just looks like its ready to kill something. Anybody on here have it?

I have it, and highly recommend it if you use the "claw" grip. It has great button placement (right handed, of course) and the "Precision Grip," while atrocious in looks, is comfortable if you can find where your hand fits into the grooves.
I do stress the importance of "claw" grip however, because if you like placing your entire hand on the mouse this will probably not be for you (claw grip is where you use just your fingers to move the mouse). The way both the grips are made for this mouse are geared toward the claw.
I'd actually say get the G9x, it looks like the same mouse with better internals, and you can probably find it on e-bay for a good price. I've been wanting to upgrade to it, but since I already have 2 mice (a G9 and a Razer Lachesis [which by the way is awful, don't buy it]) I can't justify spending another 80 bucks on a new mouse.

I have an older less alien looking version of that for my netbook. I actually sold my Razer Krait for this mouse. Smart move, I believe so.
If a mouse works fine on a table surface, is a mousepad really necessary?

A nicer keyboard would be nice, but I'll wait until this one wears out. I'll stick with the cheapo Logitech mouse though. I've been using this model for years, and it still works perfectly, obviously it doesn't have the DPI of a fancier mouse, but I'm used to it.

Logitech G7 set to 800/1200/2000 dpi (3-stage selection on mouse) 3.7 In-game, 1-from-max in Windows settings (I believe negated by Logitech soft. Wasn't broke so I haven't gone into the coding to see.)
800dpi - 2clk-Scope sniping
1200dpi - 1clk-scope sniping
2000dpi - corner-snatching / spin techniques.
mouse-pad (you're gonna LOVE this one): Hand-smoothed/sanded cherry oak with a deep stain for laser reflection reduction. I used tanned deer hide on the bottom for no slipping with a touch of glue!
