There not fair they are used all the time and you know the map is to tight 5 times I was playing and I got killed when a INS turned the corner and rpg me HE SHOULD of died but didnt :cursing: they can also be used to get double or triple kills from spawn.

RPGs are completely fair on that map, just takes skill not to kill teammates. I use it alot and i hardly ever shoot in any spawn or my teammates.

I was playing on this morning for me and thru the hole round 1 specific person who got the #1 spot for his team shot rockets in there many many kills we made. I am just saying sometimes the way they are used is very unfair

oh ok. if someone is shoting directly into the USMC or INS spawn, just warn them and if they continue get an eG or eGO to warn/ban if needed. Spawn camping and shooting isn't allowed. Now for it to be spawn campin, the INS have to be sitting in the hole in the wall or behind the big box pickin USMC off as they jump down. Same goes for the USMC if they are at A tunnels shooting the INS as they jump down its spawn camping (same goes for b side)

they may be annoying but its part of the game and we cant get rid of them and as far as i know there are no plans to do so.

Our servers are predominately vanilla play. My suggestion would be to join the insmod.org forums and rant about the RPG on there. I'm sure you won't be the only one because I've complained about the RPG before.

...or you could stay away from Dust2, and play our other servers.

oh there is a lot of that trust me

i dont see the big deal. I love using the rpg. And it doesnt matter if i get killed by it, just tells me not to go that way and flank them. :)

appreciate the effort you took to write your thread on the subject, but the RPG, imo, has been on dust since its release and although it can get aggrevating when someone who knows how to use an rpg gets their hands on it, it is a perfectly normal part of the experience on dust2. my reccommendation is to continue to play the map and practice more. you will learn as most others have where the spots to go and not go are, and how to counter rpg's. best of luck to you and if you ever need help or have questions please feel free to contact me in game or forums anytime.

It seems a lot more balanced since the update as more M203s are being used for once. As much as I preferred the old one, I like it when I don't have to play the class to get some air support.

It really can be a pain, especially when they camp right outside the spawn. Next time you kill one, make sure you pick up his RPG and make him feel REALLY bad for not getting you.

Any kill is aggravating, but if a player knows how to use it correctly, it can be deadly. Just gotta keep playing and learn how to avoid the RPG

The only way to counter a rpg is to shoot the INS before he fires lol. And by the way, an INS can move out of spawn and aim down at capture point C (I think) and kill very easily, whether players are coming from tunnels, or spawn (both sides).

To some people it might be fun or not fun but you have to follow the rules not to spawn camp/exit camp

so when the dust server has 18-30 people I should just go to BAS or BAR when they have 5 or less. No not gunna happen, the map is just no alot of elbow room in some parts im done.

 if there's only 5 people in the BAS or BAR, join it and get it going again! get in vent, and tell people to jump in!
