Some guy at microcenter tried to sell me that but im not going for it. Even if he says "Corsair" will replace any damaged parts if it fails or breaks. Water cooling IMO is way to risky.

There's no way for it to leak though. You don't have to change / fill anything ever.

Doesn't your case have an exhaust fan? I have my H50 going with a push / pull method.

ehh... its easy set up and it wasnt that much.

i have 2-200mm fans 1 at top of case 1 in front and 2 120mm fans on sidepanel..

if you put 2 noctua fans on that thing you will get cooling = cooler master v10

or you cud just add another 120mm to increase cooling but noctua fans r crazyyy

Do you understand what I mean by push / pull?

It's actually easier than taking off your rear exhaust.

Your loss.

Lol, I got lower temperatures than that with regular air cooling before my overclock. Now, after I OC'd to 3.0GHz, I'm at 24C.

i must admit, the actual size difference compared to these huge clunkers of air coolers is very sweet. plus there is no hot air from other cpu coolers being blown in/around your case. not too bad - still expensive tho especially if you buy another fan

yes and the performance is only equal to a mid-high end air cooler

unless of course you buy 2 noctua 120mm fans which cost $20 each, then you get high end cooling that equals a cooler master V10 just about.....but you pay a hefty price for it

you could more CFM's with a higher dB fan, Noctua is only "good" because of it's high CFM/low noise, easy to beat it's CFM's if you don't mind noise

yes true.........but i honestly dont want a jet engine, yea its amazing how noctua gets such high CFM while sounding virtually soundless lol, thats y they are so good....but yes they are expensive so i would have to sacrifice noise because i am not going to pay $20 for a single fan

Those are some awesome temps. Still not sure how well it stacks up against a similarly priced heatsink though, but 24 C is very impressive.

Dang, wish I'd picked one up now.

H50 uses non-conductive liquid as do most liquid cooling setups so it wont ruin your stuff if it spills

well lol i wouldn't be so confident as it totally wont ruin anything if it spills......the thing is still liquid and im pretty confident that even if it spills, though it may not corrode anything...it will surely damage something

just saying that you shouldn't not trust it because of the liquid

yes true........water-cooling is a great cooling option as it is much better than air

The only thing i hate about air-cooling is the dust, my aftermarket GPU-Cooler get dust stuck in the fins and it really annoys me because its so hard to get it out.....compressed air FTW i guess

The only bad thing about coolers like the H50 and Coolit Domino is that the radiator is too small......leading to performance number of only mid-high end air coolers

There is this liquid cooler out there called NorthQ Siberian Tiger II and it is a dual radiator while holding the same concept as the H50 as maintenance free.....i really want this NorthQ but its impossible to find, atleast its not in the US...its for like the UK and other countries except US and i can't find it, same price range tho as the Corsair H50 but it will offer much better cooling due to the Dual Radiator and Dual 120mm fans
