Ok so I'm in the market for a new mouse and possibly a keyboard. I mostly play fps games but I also regularly enjoy MMORPG's and I only have around 100$ to spend. What would be the best mouse/keyboard combination for me? or should I save up more money?

I'm just going to say you should probably save a bit more. I am currently saving up for the Razer Lachesis because all my friends have it and say its a great mouse. The Lachesis is about 80 USD, and that's basically just over the medium now. So if you want a good keyboard you going to need at least another 30-50 bucks if you want all the extra G1-12 keys and stuff for your MMORPGs.

Wow that a nice mouse, I might try and save up a bit more just to get it. I think I'm going to get the Logitech G15 for my keyboard, unless anyone else has a better suggestion.

I have a logitech G500 it is the most win of a mouse i have ever used. I think it feels better than anything razer makes, but that is personal opinion. I have a g15 keyboard, pretty standard gamer fare, i like the "g keys".

If you can save up a few extra bucks you can get the Razer Lycosa keyboard & Lachesis mouse from buy.com for 125.73USD with free shipping (if you're in the US). I highly recommend those, they are comfortable & quite nice. I am not one of those razer fanboys or anything, but they did finally pull me away from my G15v1 & G5 that I used forever. If you don't wanna spend quite that much you can get a G15 and & G5 for around 100USD delivered, & I would recommend those as well.

I like the G500's button placement and price, not to mention the customizable weight distribution so I think I'll go with it. As for the keyboard the G15 seems to be the best choice for me. Thank you everyone for your help :)

Frag some people with those for me, seeing as I'm still with my 6 year old ball mouse :( I'm getting the Lachesis next month though.

I hope you love that combo as much as i do. The weights are a real plus in my book.

Seems like you've chosen the best.

I'm sticking with my thrustworthy G5. Had it for over 2 years and nothing wrong with it.
My brother ruined the scroll tho.. Damned little brother... >: (

Also, using a Logitech S510 wireless keyboard, and I assure you, I've never seen a wireless keyboard take that much beating without saying good night.

Solid stuff.

CYBORG!!!! i have one for CS and HL2 and i love it it hasnt faild me yet, and its back lit ;D lawl

and i curently have a cyborg mouse Gamers editon, but its a bit complicated to program

I have the Logitech EX 110 wireless keyboard and the LX7 wireless mouse combo... if you have a decent usb, optical mouse its a good keyboard. The combo is only $47.99 (wouldn't recommend using the mouse included for gaming as there is a lot of lag with the actual mouse movement.)
