I must admit, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun in jail. It really brought me back to the old days. No "back out and face your cells". No "trivia". Just a bunch of guys trying to mix it up, have some fun, and be unique with cool on the fly ideas :)

Special thanks to Cryptex, the excitement level always seems to rise when he graces the jail server with his presence.

Lastly, let's not forget all of the people listed above who played along, broke from the normal jail routine and had some with it! ***Round of applause***

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of these good times in jail and show some of the newer folks how us old school dudes roll!​
 
i agree, miss the old days of jail when it was fun and not facing cells trivia and couch game. even old players and old maps are missed :P

and the same pattern of trivia, couch game, attempted to go to climb, people rebel, t's die, LR gets boring

I rarely warden but when i am i try to do different things.
 
Those were indeed the days.
no rules, just forest and people making it up as they went.

Some of my fondest eGO memories are from then.

But hey that doesnt mean we cant re-kindle the flame.
Like this thread states its still possible to have a zany awesome jail.
Just gotta mix it up and stop worrying about points.

no Kingback and hairydufflebag where the prime of jail back then, then bad things happend.... also, i was in the good old days, i was just a pub!!

I can understand somewhat why the warden does the "Back out of your cells" thing because, most of the time the server is full (or near it) and a lot of the T's like to rebel whenever they see a chance, so with 25 T's it's hard to know if people went in vents or aren't where they are supposed to be.


But, I really don't like when they say "knifing distance, don't move" and 10 people end up dying for accidentally touching their mouses or being up against the railing instead of knifing distance. The point is to have fun, not kill for every little reason.

We need to start a petition to bring back forest :P Those were the best days of jail.

The terrorists were always out of the cells before the CTs ever showed up to the cell block. Goood times.... It brings tears to my eyes.
