ok i responded to a thread similar to this
im basically going to repeat-a-post
merriam-webster defined trivia as - a quizzing game involving obscure facts
(math problems are neither obscure, nor in anyway a game)
the last time that i checked the answer to the question 2+2 didn't require a college degree or any rational thought for that matter
trivia is exactly that obscure facts
and before anyone replies "Oh but C! that gives an unfair advantage to some players!"
i know this, and to tell the truth i dont care.
not everyone is going to know the answer for a complex or difficult question. nor should they.
this makes trivia all the more rewarding when you know the answer.
would you rather have pride in yourself for being able to answer a difficult question none of the other t's know, or would you rather know that you're able to spam the number 4 in the chat box the fastest?
ill leave you to ponder the above trivia question.
