Just started using Vent

Been playing for more than 2 years. Finally got vent. This thing is confusing. So many rooms :O DOD rooms look kinda lonely too haha

Hahaha...Its basically 10 general rooms and then the division rooms with 4 rooms each in them =P Also, come into TF2 channels sometime as well =)

not to hear, but to talk. you can listen all day in vent and there are other ways around not having a mic if you have something to say

my laptop has a built in microphone, so i don't need a microphone, but i still use it. As for the empty DoD rooms, you just have to go on the right times because they are alway people there.

In My Opinion the DoD:S Division Rooms Each room should Have the name of the Server.

So people in one particular server could chat with each other. And People in another could chat with each other too. Thats my opinion.

Vent used to be organized like this, until people started complaining that the system "looked too cluttered" and that it "separated people too much".

It has changed a little bit a few times over the past few months, mostly related to this issue and the complaints about the policies for Rated-R rooms.

In My Opinion the DoD:S Division Rooms Each room should Have the name of the Server.

I think it would seperate people too much. A lot of the time there are people in the avalanche server talking with people on flash/donner etc, and as far as I've seen, it hasn't been a problem. Also, there are times where there are about 12 people in a room, with 8 playing left 4 dead 2 and the others playing dod which has been fine and dosn't really add confusion.
