Yeah, I know you have them too. I've lost over 400 positions in 2 days. Its terrible having a -2 K/D ratio.

How do you deal with them? Just keep playing till you get out of it?

If it's a really bad slump I go play another game that involves pointless slaughter for a week. Something like TF2, you come back to DoD and go... "Holy crap, this game is easy..."

You might try something like that if you have it.

Or, change your play style. If you attack and shoot everything insight, try being cautious and vice-versa.

you take a break, change your map, or change your class, the last thing you want to get is frustrated, you're not going to play your way out of frustration, and you're right, everyone gets cold streaks.

No such thing as a negative K:D by the way, -2K:D = .5 K:D, unless you figured out a way to get a negative kill or suicide yourself twice for every death O.o

I find that if you down enough pints then the problem seems to solve itself. Or at least solve my concern for the problem.

As you all know my point's rely on you guys being bad shot's or me getting better and that would be a miracle lol so play for the fun and you will see your point's creep back up, mine did.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. If you really did have a -2 K:D, then feel free to complain away. We'll all join you.

Well, they sure couldn't have dropped any lower...;) Jus' kidding London. See ya for our weekly tea in the Kalt sewers...

lol I lost nearly 700 points last weekend trying to play from a hotel room. Thing is, I still got a 2:1 ratio and lost all those points 0.o

You have good days every once in a while to get those points back tho. Yesterday I got 400 back because I had 1 game of an 8.3 KDR. Just have to be patient and take breaks like ron said. Getting frustrated ALWAYS makes you play worse.

I turn my points off where they don't pop up when i kill someone or being killed. it frustrates me to much.

Have to say that I agree with Blue Stealth and several others; as in all things there is an ebb and flow to gaming. Some days I am just not "on" whether I'm tired, distracted, stressed, etc... but then there are those days when I'm "in the zone" and everything seems to go my way which brings everything full circle.

It all averages out in the end. Besides I play to escape from all of the demands of life, not to get freaked about my stats and ratios. Killing people just makes me feel good - lol.

I agree with what's been stated... Points mean nothing. I play at a solid 4-1 most days, higher when given a sniper slot, and can loose points. I can tell you one thing though, a month after I stopped caring about points I was up 2k. Go figure.
