Good news and Bad news

the euro bootcamp for r&l will develop if (a) the server is a succes (b) the bootcamp is a succes to random euro events for R&L. In the begining the euro and north american boot camp hosted by yeti and myself will be pritty similar but just taking place in another timezone, wich doesn't mean that attending at both boot camps could be a intressiting idea cause probably yeti and myself will both stress other things, and to satisfie you guys i can inform you that each boot camp won't be a lot of explaination, the boot camps will be based on actualy gaming experience/scriming rather then giving away instructions and tips during the whole boot camp. Each boot camp will have a couple of intresting tips and tricks that will be explained at the beginning of the boot camp, we are going to work on tactics, controlling weapons, the map and how to use it, squadbased organization, pin points on certain maps,.... and all standard maps will be played in the boot camp, yeti and myself still need to discuss about the exact topics for bootcamp 1 and the map but we had a couple of intresting thoughts already.
I am sure you guys gonna like it :D

This man speaks the truth. You should expect about 15 minutes of an instructional period to every 45 minutes of shooting each other (considering everyone is following directions in a prompt, professional manner.) Also, I'm thinking the preliminary boot camp will be mostly an introduction, and therefore less shooting. This is because people who do not play tactical fps games (cs:s, tf2, CoD, BFBC2 etc.) will be lost when they start up RnL. I still encourage INS players to come however, because although it is the same genre of game, it is more difficult than INS.

No offense to anyone that plays this game, That's fine if we lose a server that nobody plays on but I've noticed since I've joined the INS division that our main goal was to get more people to join the division and keep the servers punk free. With a lot of people going to be side tracked by this game instead of playing INS servers i think it's a little messed up. This just like anyone is my opinion and mine alone. Just don't want to lose good players from INS to this game. (Pretty sure it probably will turn into a division sooner or later.)

thats a point of view very interesting but if you think well, there are 8 divisions at eGO. And how many games? Just cos another game is here does not mean that ppl will stop playing insurgent. There is allways ppl to play ins and other games, dont need to worry imo.

Yeah i guess you are right. Just saying, got a lot of good people from INS going to this game which makes me sad. Hopefully they won't permanently stay on that game, And if they do i guess that's cool too. :l

Zodiac we can always play both thats what I do I play DoD:S, TF2, INS, R&L and many other games but I still have time for INS division I only post here anyways INS is my one and only home as it has been and will always be.

Ya know, there's been a lot of concern about this. It's very understandable considering the current circumstances.

1) We lack confidence in the current INS development team, and it will be some time before the new development team can release a note-worthy update. (namely Beta 3.)

2) RnL is a great mod. Taking into account the fact that it is still in Alpha, it is very polished.

3) RnL and INS are in the same genre, and therefore a lot of INS players are attracted to it.

That said, I would like to point out a few things. Many of us that play RnL have been asked if we're quitting the INS division. As far as I know, nobody has said that they are. We have all expressed devotion to the INS division.

Also, I believe attributing the low player count, and current lack of enthusiasm of INS on those of us that play RnL is unjust. Since the release of INS 2.5 (actually before that, but this seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back) servers have been going offline and players have been uninstalling the mod. May I point out that according to game tracker, the top 3 game servers are 1. Dust2, 2. A Russian server and 3. A French server. I've never seen a Euro/Asian server hold the #2 slot. This speaks volumes. The remaining players are playing on the remaining servers.

Lastly, many of the ventrilo regulars know that I, as well as the other Os that play RnL will ALWAYS hop off and join the INS server in need of administration.

My post(s) where not to down anyone. Like i stated, I am just curious and alittle nervous is all. No disrespect intended at all. And if you took offense to my previous posts then i do apologize fully for it. But i have to say, you kind of just proved my point Yeti, You know i love ya bro <3 and everyone else in the clan, But you just said that eGOs would hop off to get on INS to administrate the servers. I've noticed alot of eGO's playing dust which makes me happy :D because i know dust is probably the most hated by most. I think i'll just hush and stay out of this. I rather not have any beef with anyone.

I apologize if my post seems harsh, I'm not upset. I'm merely trying to be clear as to not cause anymore confusion.

As far as proving your point goes. My evidence was pointing out the fact that our devotion to the INS division is continued. And I get your meaning. Yes, we are playing on the RnL server.

What I don't get is when I hop on TF2, PVKII, CS:S, etc. Nobody is concerned. BFBC2 caused mild concern amongst the INS division. What's different now?

well probably the difference is now that r&l is the same genre of game like ins, and the main reason why most people play ins is the tactical experience, r&l has a more developed tactical input then ins, so i can understand the concerns but that isn't a reason to give this mod a change, personnally i just see it as another game i am gonna play cause i never play 1 game al the time, doesn't mather how good it is eventually i get sick of it, so it won't harm my actually polaying time on ins or not that much, it will be just another game in the rotation of games i play and i strongly believe that most players will aproach it like this.
