I've seen a lot say whats a scrim?, how do you do a scrim?, When do you scrim? Ill answer bascially the frequent Asked questions from my knowledge of scrims.
Whats a scrim?
An online game between two or more teams. A scrim is a practice match, usually before one of the teams go into a more serious 'ladder' match. A scrim can be any online game, but notables are: Counterstrike, Enemy Territory and Battlefield 1942. Ladder matches and scrims are basically the same, ladder matches actually count if you are in a league.
What are the requirements for a CS:S scrim?
All you really need is Ventrilo. When your dead, you can say in ventrilo were the other team is going, where are they rushing, and even if you see bomb.
How many players can be in a CS:S scrim?
a total of 10 people. You can do a 2v2, 3v3, 4v4s, but thats Not populare
Whats a 5man?
A 5man IS NOT SCRIMING WITH ONLY 5 PPL. a 5man is getting 5 people to scrim with your side and you look for random people to scrim with.
Where can i get 5 or 10 people?
Heres a what i use: Ventrilo, your steam friends list, and Irc in gamesurge. NO EGO SERVERS
How do you scrim in CS:S
Its the first to 16 win. First, you pick a side and play that side for 15 rounds. Then after 15 rounds, record your score and the opponents score and switch side. Then play your other side until the first to 16 wins.
Are awps and the other guns will be enabled?
Yes
Do I get 16k every round.
No, you start off with 800. You have to work your way through by killing the team or planting the bomb.
Can i Teamkill?
Yea
Whats the point of a scrim?
To have fun, to practice before a ladder match, to practice your CS:S skill, etc.
Do i need a server for scriming
Yes, You can't scrim with no server. And it needs to be a private server.
Can you scrim is Cs maps?
No, only De stock maps or maps that are scrimmable in leagues such as eco or cevo.
Can we scrim Highschool?
Highschool isn't a stock map so no.
Who can start a scrim?
Anyone can as long as its in ventrilo.
What does MM2 mean?
messagemode2, Meaning you can only type in team chat, not all chat
What cool league that are out there that i can join?
Cevo is hard, Eco is R.I.P,esea, etc.
What is a ninja defuse?
A Ct defusing the bomb when its planted with the ts having no clue its actually being defused.
What is a wallbang?
shooting through a wall and actually killing someone
Whats a clutch?
A time when there is only 1 person in a team alive and 2 and more alive in the opposite side. The only person in the team actually winning a round all by himself.
Is there a timelimit to leave spawn?
no
Where can I download a map pack of the league maps
Since eco-league shut down, theres a ton of downloads still out there to download. But you got to look yourself
How can i check someone if someone is hacking during scrims?
There is a website called legit-proof.com. You type status in console and check someone steam id there, then it will show if the player has been Vac banned. Heres is the site
How can I get in Spec when the spec option isn't there?
Type spectate in console

1 person killing everyone in the opposite team.
Can I leave during a scrim?
You can, but your teammates will be mad and it will become 4v5.
