Your first hat thread.

First hat was the Cheater's Lament, then the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask, followed by the Ghibus.

Of course, that's not real fun...so the Respectless Rubber Glove was my first drop. I eventually saved up enough to craft a hat and made a Professional's Panama. After awhile, I got sick of them, decided to craft them together and wound up with a Modest Pile of Hats.

I'm kind of on a rotation. Can't remember the last thing I crafted, but I would up taking the Pile and turned it into a Towering Pile. If I get tired of the hat and I end up with a second, I usually craft them together to see what I get.

i had the pyro beanie as my first hat and later crafted it .

First hat I ever had was the Batter's helmet. As soon as I got another hat, I immediately crafted it so I could try to get a Baker Boy hat.

I have crafted every single hat ever since. Still no Baker boy hat. That is an elusive hat.

I spent about a month collecting enough metal to make a soldier's hat. As soon as I had four refined, two reclaimed and two scrap metal, I got a hat drop. It's the demoman bonnet. I don't know if I still have it, I think I crafted it. But I went ahead with my plans and got the stainless steel pot. It's freaking sweet.

"What was your first hat?" thread. Not a "What did you craft in the past 2 years?" thread. Simple as that. I became curious and gave up on the 4th post.

I think the towering Pillar of hats is the COOLEST! 1st on my list of Hats to get, 2nd is the Troublemakers Tosstle cap for the Scout, 3rd is the Kabuto for the Soldier,4th would have to be that Demo hat I got, so im kinda happy.

My first hat was the Ghastly Gibus (did I spell that right...?). I crafted a hat and got the Heavy's football helmet. Other than that I've got nothing.

Well i suppose it was a camera beard, i dont remember how i got it i just woke up one day, looked in my backpack and it was there.....Actually my forst real hat drop was a respectless rubber glove

My first was the Trophy belt for the sniper. That was like 3 days after the Sniper/Spy Update too!

First hat found was the Pyro's Beanie which I wear to this day still(only cause I havent gotten a different pyro hat), second find was the mining light.
First crafted helm was the Tyrant's Helm for the soldier, one of my fave's.

I think I now have one class hat for every class except the medic, which will be my next craft if I dont get one before than.

That's my current goal. I don't want every hat in the world; I just want one for every class, so that they're all equally adorned. I think atm I'm 4/9. so I have some work to do.
