I've got ideas, but, not the correct know-how. Most of them have come up while playing on eGO Jail Server.
Essentially, I'd like to see plug-ins that sort of hard code some rules into the game. I'm all about LESS regulation, but I feel like there are some things that could easily be addressed without need for administration.
Before anyone says it, I've finally played another Jail server (for a minute there, I thought it was only this community playing that crazy mod, lol), so I am now aware that there are existing plug-ins for Jail. Of those plug-ins, I'm sure at least some of them are not in use already for particular reasons (either through admin consensus or hardware\software problems\incapability).
Also, I am aware that some changes can be made through other means. With this thread, I'm just saying I'd like to see some additions to the server. Hopefully, together, we can come up with things that will curtail a lot of the arguing over rules and technicalities both on the forum and in-game.
I will personally be using this thread for my own ideas to avoid cluttering the rest of the forum. Others are welcome to do the same. Posts\suggestions are not limited to plug-ins only
- I'd love to hear that "I ammmmmmm the one and only" sound byte when it goes down to last CT. I can think of a million times I have been the last one and didn't know, or was shot glancing at the scoreboard to see if I was. (Can this be done for just CTs? Or would the last T have to hear it as well?)
- An LR plug-in would be cool as long as we are not only limited to things that it lists. We'd have to be able to override, or make sure that the game continue should one of the choices not be selected so a different LR can be made.
- I've been debating the idea of a warden-mic-only type thing. I know it's already limited to CTs, but there is endless chatter going on. I think if a warden were clear enough in their orders, the rest of the team could (for the most part) shoot first, then ask questions, so to speak. The only thing I can think of that's wrong with this is that ALL CTs with mics must be able to warn a T to drop the gun before shooting. This only came up in my mind because I know asking people to limit mic use is waaay too much to ask.
Do you guys have any ideas? Feel free to toss them around in here. This should help the drop box from being inundated with stuff that hasn't been thought through, or already been handled in some other thread.
