How did you learn...

Hey guys... i was just wanderin, how did you learn to sniper on this game?? I mean, the height ratio thing with the snipers. I learned by a tone of luck, but still remember the good days when id allways miss :lol:... when i think about it, its a bit like noobtubing on COD MW2 (or something like that).

With a bolt action sniper, if you hold down the right mouse button when firing, it keeps you zoomed in, allowing you to take test shots to test out drop.

Actually, quick fact. Practice does NOT make perfect. You will never be perfect at something. NEVER. Practice creates good or bad habits.

Aim, fire. If you miss, adjust aim, fire. Miss again? More adjustments, more firing, more trying. Moar failing too. But eventually, you'll be quick scoping for across the map

I like to stick to assault... Mainly because I can't snipe, I try but fail hard. But of course, I'm working on it.

i h8 standing in one spot just sniping.:thumbdown: So I put on a 4x scope and run around and use em like a shotgun.

Do that with an SVU and it will work very well, . I had it down the first time i played, i unlocked everything for the recon kit within 2 days, i bought the game because i saw a pre-release gameplay vid of the sniping and i fell in love with it.
As far as learning the distance, not too difficult once you can eyeball it.
Just keep in mind that most maps you typically will never aim any higher then 2 mildots above the head, most shots are short (imo) under 200 on marksman if you get the headshot, so typically aim between 1 and 2 mildots high....
My longest shot was on Arica Harbor, an off hand shot i decided to shoot before moving in, i was attacker at first points, i was standing in the very back of first spawn i aimed 3 mildots above an enemy snipers head when he was in the observation tower on the left hillside and got the headshot, 376+ on Marksman shot
