It may sound simple, but I'll give you my story.
Some years ago, I was playing Saints Row. I made myself a gamertag for xbox live, just like everyone else. In my rushing, I put in an incorrect email in the space for it. Didn't think much of it at the time, so I continued on.
About 2 years later, I purchase L4D. I'm very excited and I play it all night the first day I get it. The next day, I go to move a file from my xbox to my friend's xbox (I was using a memory card at the time, no hdd). When I connect to my friend's xbox, it showed that my memory card was corrupted and needed reformatting. I was stunned. I instantly remembered back to the day when I created. I knew the error I made and that I probably wouldn't have my gamertag again.
That was 2 years ago. Ever sense then, every few months I would try to get my gamertag back. The only problem I have is that I reach a point that text support doesn't help. They keep telling me to go to passport.net, do this, do that, restart my xbox, etc. I've done that for 2 years and nothing!
So, if anyone has any ideas or any info on the matter, can you please help me? I really don't think I can't take microsoft's low performance support team anymore.
