Scrim Team Info

[gimpy17]

So I see a ton of posts on how people want to join scrim teams and because I

am new to the whole community gaming, I was wondering what exactly a scrim

is?

Is it short for scrimmage?

And what are the qualifications you must to have in order to be on a scrim

team?

Like, do you have to be really really good, or do you have to be online playing for

a certain number of hours?

What are the commitments?

A SIMPLE definition for a scrim is just a competitive match between two teams, each starting off with 800 cash, playing 15 rounds for first half, and then you switch over teams and play first to 16.

As far as a I know for the requirements, you need to have some skill in playing CS:S, and you need to have some time on your hands to actually be able to play the game.

If you would like to learn how to scrim and/or tryout for the Scrim Team, then shoot a PM to the leaders of the CS:S Scrim Team, FartVader or Kain.
