Hello DoD:S Division!

So, I got DoD:S sometime back in 2009. I only played a little over an hour of the game though. There was nothing about the game that wanted me to keep going.

The thing is, I still want to give DoD:S a chance. So, the question being, what tips do you guys have for a noob like me that is pretty new to DoD?

Thanks!

Giving our events a shot would be tip #1.

And when all else fails, come join us on Donner for some field-nading, sniperhouse-stabbing, suzy-shoveling fun!

join strand on axis side to kill allies players or join anzio and learn how to use support/rifle class ;) never start use assault class or most guys start hate you :) so those are my tips but never listening crazy guy like me. Oh i forget recoil is not like playing cs:s :)

Also in strand allies lose allmoust every time before they get good rifle's and snipers :P

Haha, nice tips tomi :)

The main tip is - always join Axis side in Avalanche or Strand.
But, if you would like to get better try sometimes join Allies :)

start with a simple map like Anzio or Kalt, start with assault or rifle class depending on your preference/style. Remember we have sprint and prone and nades will explode after 5 secs even in your hand.

Remember recoil is in this game, so crouch for better accuracy. And unlike TF2, being behind cover is good.

Don't listen to anybody else. Avalanche is where the fun is.

Ava is not for beginners. I would add flash (as well as Kalt and Anzio) as a good beginner's map.

Avalanche, allied side, it's easy as pie taking those flags from the axis!

First start with an open mind,as a beginner you will not be to good. Then look on it as fun and enjoy yourself, enjoy the friendship of the other player's and take some of their advice, some not all. But the catch word is have fun.

Thanks for the tips guys! I'll keep these in mind the next time I play!

Play Donner and go to events like Skippy said.

Btw, what is this 'strand' that tomi keeps talking about??? I can't imagine tomi is talking about hair, etc.

My tip.. Hmm, get to know the controls, and join me in ava and Ill help you :). Also find a class that you really like and stick with it. For me, I prefer long range such as sniper and rifleman.

Avalanche FTW!

1) Headphones
2) Gaming mouse with thumb buttons
3) Start with Support Class
4) Crouch every time you shoot
5) If standing, Move side to side when you shoot
6) Pre-shoot around corners
7) Play small maps like Avalanche(Axis first)

Defiantly focus on learning how the gun moves with the recoil. When I fist started playing, that was the post difficult part to get used to. I still manage to barely kill anyone haha. Good luck and have fun! ;)
