Server idea

so i was told that they should have an Edge gamers rotation server.....I THINK it a great idea i would help with the server in any way if there was any rotation so if anything i can do to make this happen just tell me cause i think this be a pretty aggressive server

I believe we had a rotation server in the past if I recall correctly. Once it switches to a map which not a lot of people want to play, most of the people leave. Then the server sits at zero players for a long time and its hard to get it back to the full level it was at before. I think that's why we don't have one now, same thing happened on an eGO TF2 server before I joined CS:S division.

A lot of people want it, but we had one before that had low activity and got dropped.

If you get enough people to drop box it then leadership might consider it..

I might make a poll to see how many people would be in favor of it just to see what kind of support it would get.

yea it was me who mentioned it. but you can make the rotational server a RTV where people RTV and vote for another map that they like, I dunno I brought it up cause I thought it would be a good Idea. I can make a poll wheres the best place to poll for it. I'd like to poll first before I dropbox it because if a lot of people think we should do it then I could say the Poll data and that might influence the decision

Replace gungame with rotation.

Admin: Because we had one and no one went on it.
Person: I bet if you do it now it will always be full!!
Admin: Ok we'll do it.

Person: See I told you it would be full
Admin:sure....

(2 weeks later)

Admin: We need people to fill gun game
Person:..........

(3 weeks later)

Admin: Gun Game server is shut down due to lack of interest.

(2 Months later)

Person: Why don't we have gun game?

Repeat.

you can already RTV in zombie escape and Rogue Sniper is doing what he can to make everyone happy with the zombie server. He's making quite a few changes and doing maintenance to it, the least the css division can and could be doing is playing on it more, thanking and appreciating Sniper's efforts into trying to meet peoples thoughts / demands.

But, I think i said this in your thread molson, i wouldn't mind seeing a 24/7 rotational server.. Or even a Gun Game
