DVI or HDMI output

Hey guys,
Just wondering for me as I have just bought a new monitor LG E2241V, and have a GTS 250 what would I be better to use. I already have one monitor using DVI and was wondering for my new monitor should i use the HDMI or DVI output?

I use a HDMI just because my Video card NVIDIA EVGA GTX 570 SC HD and it uses the HDMI slot and my monitor uses HDMI as well. If you want real HD graphics HDMI is the way to go.

Doesn't matter DVI-D and HDMI is the same quality except HDMI just adds HD audio into one cord which is worth nothing for a monitor. You'll be fine using either

What crush said, I have both my main monitor is hooked up for HDMI and my side monitor is plugged into the DVI slot and there is no difference they sent the same digital signal just in different methods.

Just use whatever plug/cable you already have readily available. In fact, not only are they the same quality, they are actually the same exact data stream, just with different plug types and audio added to hdmi.

Thanks for he reply's guys I'll just do them as having a hdmi and dvi into one monitor and dvi into the other
