But that really isn't fair, especially when people don't know they are on modded servers at first (or at all).

Doing the quick join, is that for just official servers or do I have the possiblity of joining one of these modded servers? And banning even if you join it accidentally.. good god tha'ts a bit overkill for just a beta.

apparently they are only banning accounts that go into modded servers multiple times not just one time

Although this is an open beta please remember that most, if not all, of you guys in the beta are in the eGO platoons. Please stay out of those modded servers. You're representing eGO and by going on those servers, you're kind of giving us a bad name before the game's even released.

That's really messed up. When I first saw these servers, I had no idea they were illegal servers. I thought they were just testing other modes. It wasn't until I read something here that I found out about it.

hopefully your able to get everything worked out with EA on that sucks to hear. I head about this yesterday and still got in to a couple of them so a little surprised that I didn't get banned also. Got to try out the metro conquest and OMFG huge but total lag fest! I will be sure to steer clear of them now though.

Pretty sure he can create a new account. Banning people by mac address would be retarded because then EA would lose profit. I just don't think they made the right call when no notice was posted for those who didn't know. They should have just removed those servers off the game list.
