I just recently discovered the true potential of the Spy playing Eyeduct. I can't believe I ranked up so many kills....that is until those blasted Pyros started ruining my fun. Now I understand why Spies are hating on me when I torch them so much  I may just have to indulge a bit more with him.

I prefer payload maps as a spy ;) your prey is always focused on something, so it's all about timing and hiding well enough ;) you don't have to chase anyone :D

I love Blackmesa for Spying. It's lots of fun and nothing happens the same way twice.

Yeah I watched Frisky's payload videos and was amazed how simple he made it look. I almost felt bad for the victims...almost:) it's an addicting rush getting kill after kill and trying to see how many I can get before they figure out something is amiss.
Oh and having a dead ringer mixed in with an an eternal reward is like a drug
"insert drool here"

I found black mesa too narrow for spyies. I mean the scaffoldings are too narrow, you can't dodge any pyro there.

On payloads however, camp right, Dead ringer + eternal reward and you easily get godlike :D That's how I'm playing as a defender in PL maps ;) One game, I did like 8 in a row next to the payload:D

Your doing it wrong, the catwalk over A point is used for drop stabs and the vents are used for stairstabs. :P

It's a well known fact that the elite TF2 players frequent Black Mesa. Heck, it's the only map where pets are allowed, there's a pool of coffee, and people can actually fight back out of their spawn. What more could you want?

Also, pay attention to the Frisky. He is the world's best spy (next to me of course).

Well, I actually don't have much chance to wait above the A. There's always some triggerhappy pyro waiting for me :D ALso, I haven't found use for dead ringer there, and I adore dead ringer :D

Pool of coffee? Looks like productivity, sounds like fun! :D But I just... hate pyros on BM. They are like "I'll compression blast everyone in my way to that green goo" and that is what makes me engineer on this kind of maps :D

Clearly I need to come off my hiatus and get ripped apart by Frisky sometime to experience this wonderful new item.

mesa isn't the best map for spying. the ladders are probably the best part but it won't work over and over again with the same person. vents are narrow and are ideal for sniper camping and a good passage for heavy/medic pair. any decent heavy/medic will always spy check...and if they do...it's a very narrow space for escape....well unless u are a DR spy. even with DR, there will be times when you'll be stuck in the vent with enemies on both side.

at A, there are always sniper enemies camping the spot. also it's the place where some of the best scouts lurk. but if you are DR'ing you can usually stab a few and turn on DR...the sniper/scouts will be after u...but there's plenty of ammo down there.

there are also plenty of snipers behind the blast door...you probably want to go stab them but any decent team will have a sentry gun build next to those map rooms. you probably want to go sap the sentry but any decent team will usually have a pyro lurking nearby the sentry.

P.S. a 1/2 decent pyro with gas jokery set in BM can easily HUMILIATE a pro spy.

I agree eyeaduct is great for spys espicially when theres alot of engies

Agreed; I've been stabbed by Frisky too many times to count on Blackmesa. I find dead ringer spies riduculously hard to kill though, especially as pyro, because you can literally sit there and burn them continuously for about 30 seconds as the dead ringer keeps reviving them somehow! :P

I make these guys rage, even good pyros fall to stair stabs especially when following me up in the vents, just ask Dizco ;).

Again your doing it wrong :P. Trigger happy pyros are easy to handle, if you see a pyro run. Unless you are good enough to handle him at a distance with your pistol or trick him into a stair stab or bait n stab.

Love how you thought you killed me that many times ;) DR is my best friend :P.

today I discovered a new way to get rid of sentries with team full of snipers (reall, there were like 11v11 and 5 of red where I was, were snipers) on 2fort. When I strarted messing around with blu intel, using dead ringer, engies were really excited to have a spy in their territory. So I always threw intel a little bit to some hard to defend position, let the engies believe they owned me, let them move their sentries... dress up as engie. And let the fun begins. It's like some protocol or law - intel lies inside base - move every sentry here ;)Hard to defend is right outside the intel room. Also hard to see spy coming ;)
Sapped until not a single sentry survived, then switched to big earner and... fun: the sequel. Damn, I should've saved that replay...
