I just looked up the system requirements for COD MW3, and I need no updates for it...woohoo, though the cash for it will be a long time coming, at least I can have a new game in the future:thumbup:

thats an interesting thought. might thin out a bit, maybe less lone wolves?
I had fun with MW2. With the right perks, I'd go madman rambo full speed with the knife. Yup, I was one of those annoying guys 
Must admit though, never went back once I started playing BC2. The battlefield series always seemed to have more teamwork and tactics. Would be fun to try MW again with a clan though, might be totally different.

I, for one, don't think I will ever be able to go back to a "shoe box" shooter like Call of Duty after playing Battlefield 3. Something about the atmosphere, the sights and sounds, of the Battlefield series is what draws me in the most. Battlefield 3 provides the most realistic sense of being in the thick of it that I can think of to date. Even more so than the ArmA series (in my opinion).

It looks like they are still using the same basic (quake 3) engine, just with a few more updates.
I have always enjoyed call of duty, but honestly, doesnt hold a candle to battlefield for me anymore.
The single player has been great (minus maybe the convoluted story of mw2), and mw3 will probably be no exception. But other than that, I am expecting another repackaged multiplayer which I have been playing for the past 5 years. I mean even the animations look like they have been lifted straight out of the older games.
I would wait till it goes on sale... but if the past is any indication, its such a cash cow that it wont go on sale for a looong time.
