So within the last few days I have reported 4 hackers with origin's reporting system and I just wanted you guys to know I was glad to get an email from EA saying the players were getting investigated. :)

There seems to be a recent jump in hacking recently, some blatantly obvious, and some other that are hard to point out, but usually their stats page will verify suspicious activity.

You can check their stats page in the battle log in a couple of days after you get the e-mail and see if EA thought they were hacking. If they did the stats are reset and your guys a private.

Well thats good, but would be better if they got banned and had to buy a new game.

I would submit them directly to pbbans instead of Origin. EA only does the stat wipes for exploits and other various in-game tripe. EA is a middle man when it comes to legitimate hacking bans.

Make sure you're calling out suspected hackers on the eGO servers either in chat or vent for observation. They do get handled quickly when people ask.

Indeed, but please dont be a douche about it. It seems every person with a k/d of 10 gets accused of hacking. A great way to observe, btw, is to switch teams and spectate them in the squad menu.

Ranchito reported me several times after i shot him out of the littlebird 3 times in a row at 5 AM :P

Wait... What?! Whenever I see someone accuse another player of hacking on our servers admins tell them not to. On CS:S as an admin I tell players not to accuse others of hacking all the time. In Battlefield 3 I have seen one of our admins do the same. Now its ok to call out suspected hackers? I am confused...

Well for the most part I have only seen 1 on eGO servers and it was discussed over vent and I dont think anything was said in game, most of the time it has been different servers with completely obvious stuff.

One guy had a lazer on his m16a3 and it was just tracking and locking on to people lol. I called him out within 10 minutes he had something like 24-2 on rush metro than called me the scrub lolol. when the Admin of that server finally decided to listen to us he was 94-4 about 5 minutes later. top amount of kills for next player was 11. If i knew where screen shots saved I'd show the scoreboard before he was banned.
Edit: this guy was also lvl 20 in 4 hours and had an kdr of about 8
And lol Rainbow

If you suspect someone is hacking do not call them out in game. Instead take it to vent and talk to an admin or member of leadership. If you give a leadership member the player's stats pages we can work as quickly as possible to deal with the issue.

The only times you may ever kick/ban a player for hacking is if it is insanely obvious A.K.A. if the person is speedhacking or spin botting.

^ This is what I meant. In chat you can ask for an observation, but it's best to take it to vent.
