Every Turtle Beach I've had has been cheaply made, expensive, subpar in quality and probably the least optimal choice in its price range.

Actually they are very cheaply made. Ive gone through about 3 of them now. The head band is horrible and is prone to snapping at the slightest twist/bend. The microphone is decent but you van find much better for the price. And the overall sound is OK. Its not spotacular. Plus everyone can hear what you can hear on your headphones at 1/2% volume.

You must have bad luck ... Because I've dropped mine several times it's been smashed under stuff in boxes when I moved ... And it still sounds better then anything ive listened too
