First Recruiting Activity - Reflections

Alright guys, first off let me express my appreciation for all who attended the recruiting activity last night following our clan-wide meeting. For a first-time trial run of the event, it was extremely successful, exceeding many of my goals and expectations.

I would like for those of you who attended to have a chance at offering some feedback in regards to how the event was run, how it could be improved, and what didn't work so well. So please, post your thoughts, I would like to improve upon this and hold more in the future.

A special thanks goes out to Timr, SonicX11212, and MovingTarget for sticking around for hours to review recruit applications. Lastly, if you are not comfortable with giving your opinion here, feel free to PM me.

The event went well, we picked up some great new recruits, and best of all, we boosted the numbers of DoD:S recruits for this month! Great job guys.

Ditto. It was fun to have the "war room" atmosphere going on. I will think about suggestions for the future and post them once I have a list (instead of one at a time).

Good Job guys i think it went well. I think next time we should organize how we do it though so we can cover more people at once than just having people sitting around. Dont just stop at the drive keep going and you can do it.

I honestly think we need to keep the Recruiter Lobby, New Recruit Rooms, and Application Lobby channels in vent. They're good for keeping everything in this recruiting drive organized.

We need a lobby just for recruitment and we need like 3 recruitment rooms if we wanna get tons of recruits in. That way we arent all jammed in the 1 recritment app room!

The only suggestion I have is perhaps next time we split into groups with at least one experienced recruiter in each and go to each populated eGO server and maybe even have each group in a separate ventrilo channel.

This is my plan down the road. However, at the moment and in the near future, with so many individuals not well versed in recruiting processes I thought it more effective to have a group-learning environment.

With time and with more recruits you will see a change in the direction of smaller "teams".
