What makes a good warden for jail? Someone who can:
1. Keep track of the t's

3. Play games that are not played every other round
4. Come up with new ideas for games
5. Move the t's efficiently and in a timely manner
6. Know when to have a free day
7. Not have a cell block day
8. Is lenient with most t's

I think I fit all 10 of those requirements :P. Except maybe coming up with new games, but I like to use what the map has to offer =D.

A good warden knows that freedays are bad and one should never be given.

Beat me to it :thumbup1:

A freeday is pretty much for a warden who does not know how to control larger groups of Ts. Exact reason why they give so many STs. Also, odd man in/out are banned because it does not have the Ts moving around. If you really want to be a good warden and have fun days, you have to make sure the Ts know who is in charge, this way they don't even try to rebel.

Especially noticeable when a few people are rebelling, half the guards are dead, and the warden who is hiding behind a corner yells FREEDAY. All within 30 seconds of cell doors opening. Then it's on the other guards to deal with them, and not the warden himself. Hardly seems fair imo.

The #1 best way to know you're a good warden is:
Don't be like Muffinz

a good warden gives second chances instead of killing someone for budging in front of thier cell and having them wait 10 min for the next round. learned that from experience which is why i only kill rebels lol

This.

I'm tired of getting killed in jail because people "twitch" when they were told to freeze. It's just a pathetic excuse to boost your score, when jail has no rank or no benefit from you killing them. I honestly used to be like that, but now when I'm warden I actually let a lot of stuff go. I still can be a rude warden and shoot you for doing stupid stuff, but not an every round occurrence. That is one reason I don't play jail as often as I do, because of trigger happy CT's that want to look good by killing all the T's for moving that have no chance of even harming you. It's quite sad. Be lenient.

+1

Here is my $.02...

There is usually an admin or admins in the servers at all times, therefore, my suggestion is that any CT that kills a T for no reason, or a dumb reason, should be switched over to T (just like they've been arrested for murder) and are not allowed to join CT until the next round.

This is the #1 reason I don't play in jail too often, I get killed for dumb / no reasons. And granted, I LOVVVVVE rebelling and I push limits, but it isn't in excess to warrant being killed.

Just a thought.... take it or leave it. I'll get back to Italy where I belong! lol

That can really apply to all CTs, and not just the warden in specific.

My warden skills are more like this

Just as important as controlling the prisoners, controlling your team.
