Ratings are always screw'd off the bat. I'd wait awhile for it to settle down.

Plus most of the people are probably ticked about the server errors and might be rating based off that.

As for me i probably will buy it eventually. Never played a Diablo game before.


Example:
"You have got to be kidding me, Blizzard. I've been waiting for this game for years and now I can't even play it. Remember when you used to buy a game and you actually, you know, owned it. You could play it whenever you want, for as long as you want. I know the internet is taken for granted this days, but the problem here is not just my internet connection, it's your servers. I'm just going to rate the game zero because I can't even play it."


He's rating a game a 0 based off the servers on the first day.

+1. You shouldn't even be able to rate it until the second week or something. Every game has faults upon its initial arrival.


Also I never give a darn about a games ratings. User ratings or Official ratings don't matter to me.. Especially raged 11 year old basement dwellers user ratings on metacritic. :P
 
Diablo 3 is ok Mw3 is a way better game in graphics game play story weapons music, should i keep going?

I kind of agree with that example though... I haven't played D3 but any game that I paid for that can be rendered unplayable because of a server going down is a 0 in my book. If I bought a game that has any sort of SP component I should be able to play it without an internet connection end of story. Even if after the first week the servers are made stable and there's next to no downtime the fact they can take away a game I paid for by pulling the plug on some servers makes it a terrible idea.

i agree, i don't think this is a good method until internet is so much apart of society that pretty much everything is connected and using it, which it seems we are getting there, but we are not there yet. If a company wants to do this, they show have many back ups and pre release prepping, if they have to update/do maintenance on them, they should be connected to a different server running the current version until the updates are done, then have it so when people update the game they are re connected with the updated servers when they come back online so it would have minimal down time
 
ok everyone is entitled to their own oppinion but i guess its the majority whos right :P
i personally think its an awesome game, allthough its not allways easy being a demon hunter :p

trolololo. Anyways, torchlight 2 is where its at. Never played any of the diablo games so I don't rally care if I play D3, plus torchlight 2 was $20 compared to $60. Oh and I got original torchlight for preordering :p
